Our team has dedicated the past 20 years to studying and teaching individuals about the profound connection between people and horses. Throughout our journey, we have had the privilege of mentoring a diverse range of individuals, including those from high-pressure, production-oriented careers, paramedics, mental health nurses, aged care nurses, business owners, CEOs, FIFO workers, veterans with PTSD, domestic violence survivors, at-risk youth, individuals with spectrum disorders, dysfunctional families, and those struggling with addictions. These individuals have sought us out in their quest for greater connection and personal growth. It is important to note that our approach is not therapy; rather, we focus on imparting emotional intelligence and life skills through the incredible teachings of the horse, a sensitive and sentient being.
Our area of expertise lies in building trust with horses that others have deemed dangerous or broken. Many of the horses that come to us have experienced severe trauma or remain wild and untouched. Through years of experience and observation, we have developed a program that draws upon our understanding of horse communication. As a result, these horses have regained their confidence, reached a relaxed state, and ultimately learned to trust in our bond, enabling them to overcome their fears and recover.
Over the past seven years, our primary focus has been on fostering deep connections between people and horses to create the most productive teams possible. We strive to teach individuals how to engage in genuine, heartfelt conversations, express their intentions clearly, and cultivate open communication. By doing so, we aim to nurture a culture of active learning, proactive self-growth, and personal development.
Our team is comprised of down-to-earth, authentic individuals, and our horses are real, genuine beings. We hold dear to traditional values that embody the essence of this country—values such as empathy, kindness, equality, aware yet genuine communication, understanding, respect, trustworthiness, loyalty, and the nurturing of valued friendships, relationships, teams, and companies. Our extraordinary team of 11 horses holds within them a tapestry of special stories, each one weaving a tale of resilience, redemption, and unwavering spirit. Each horse has found their way to Emma, becoming a part of our journey of rehabilitation and healing in their own unique way. In turn, they have become powerful agents of transformation for our intuitive Hearts Horse team and countless others.
From the littlest 9hh companion to the majestic 17hh gentle giant, our horses represent a diverse spectrum of sizes and backgrounds. Each one is at a different point in their personal journey of rebuilding trust in humanity. Their hearts beat with vulnerability and authenticity, openly sharing their emotions and experiences. The key lies in our ability to cultivate a calm presence, to be still and listen with our hearts.
